Comment in question 06-02-2007 00:46 I find it beyond belief that this article has actually been published! Not only is it factually corrupt, it reads like nazi propaganda. Croatia is now the most ethnically purest state in europe. Over 600,000 Serbs were expelled in 1995, most of whom have not been allowed to return. This was the worst case of ethnic cleansing throughout the whole conflict. Croatia was Germanys most loyal servant during WWII, carrying out the most brutal and savage murders against Serbs, Jews and gypsies. Up to 1,000,000 people were murdered at Jasenovac concentration camp alone. This past has been largely ignored and concealed by the Croatian government and western medias. Jasenovac was the most savage of concentration camps in all of europe, so much so that even the SS were disgusted. Croatia has now just picked up from where it started all those years ago by continuing its fascist policies and denying Serbs any rights. The fact that the author of this article refers to Gotovina as a war 'hero' is disgusting, and displays the general attitude of modern day Croatia. Fascism is alive and well, 50 years after we said, Never again Guest |
