Hi there Prof. Polya. It seems that Johns Hopkins don't agree with you about excess deaths of Afghan children:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/worldlatest/story/0,,-6592134,00.html

'KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) - Improvements in women's access to medical care since the Taliban fell five years ago have led to a marked decrease in Afghanistan's infant mortality rates, with 40,000 fewer infant deaths a year, according to a new study.'

Any thoughts on these figures?
