Ben , I hope there is an answer to halt teh asault on the M.E. I also hope people will remember that we had a very insperational and backed anti war man from the last 04 election, Howard Dean who the democrates dropped and signed up a pro war man in Carey. while the same hope was possbley hoped for accountability and reform was hoped for from the 06 election we have seen no such TRUE public support from a new congress, in fact just recently recinding checks on the president to keep him from escalating the war or starting new ones without the approval of congress. They have given his destructive hand back to him. If this is to enable them to ganin further support for a white house in 08 let us not forget this may be at teh cost of many more Iraqi and american lives. I do not think this 2 party system is capable of functioning to serve the American people. It serves only to confuse the people. Then to carry out the wants and needs of top 1% of the populations need and greed for M.E. and oil control to serve only their needs. The system is in need for a complete over haul. Starting the next election process early serves only as a distraction to allow them to expand the war now. Even if this conclusion is wrong the next election will be to late. The lives lost in the last 2 yrs may well be double that or more by then in a deeper quagmire or possible WWIII. More drastic measures are in order. Wishing watching and debating over the next lame president only suppresses a meaningful measure of the people to stop the war now. Slow withdrawal only plays into the ability for expansion and more complexities towards getting it stoped. More marches and further creativity to put even greater pressure on our representatives and the administration must be allowed to grow and to develop in order for this to be achieved. People should beware that many possible flag waving, attention destracting acts may come into play to distract from the anti war movement. I supppose people even feel a false sence that something has been achieved by participating in a anti war march, yet it is only a baby step toward achieving an end, a necesssary first step. Another 9/11 or head on conflict with Iran has become just to up front and on edge. There are many projects planed in Michigan , New York, Chicago and Atlanta this month and 1st parts of April. Time is of the essence! :eek
