Post #12 - I fully agree with your UPDATE Christina, noting that my article was dated March 2007 and the new Rudd Labor Government sworn in Monday 3 December, 2007. 
 
Rudd Labor HAS got rid of the evil, racist, climate criminal and war criminal Bush-ite Coalition Government (hurrah!) and it HAS signed Kyoto (hurrah!), but as you say there is "so much more for Australians to do, I know!" 
 
Reality check: the Rudd Labor signed Kyoto but used its presence at Bali to back the Bali-wrecking US and Canadian position of total objection to 2020 targets demanded of developed countries by the civilized EU countries and the rest of the world (see:Climate criminal, Bali-wrecker Rudd Australia faces World Sanctions). 
 
Neo-Bush-ite Rudd Labor in fact is FAILING to act on all kinds of important matters (see: Rudd Australia Report Cards #1, #2, #3).
