Don't forget the oil

Great article. Thanks! I do see another elephant in the room that neither the author here nor even Ron Paul care to talk about, and that is the brutal theft of Iraqi oil. Yes, the bombing, genocide, embargos and such are causing blowback, but we wouldn't even be there if they didn't have oil. We are there to take the oil. That's why we are building 14 permanent military bases and an embassy bigger than the Vatican. Why are we afraid to say it?
