Chavez...CHAVEZ is your paragon of democracy? The guy who just sent armed paramilitaries in to take a TV station he didn't like off the air? 
 
Please...I'm along for the ride with anyone who thinks our two-party system is broken (I'd like to see a proportional representation system in the lower houses of state legislatures) but you're not going to win too many supporters by jumping in bed with the likes of Hugo Chavez.
