I think when one says the word religion, one is saying false. 
Many of the diverse religions of the World know they are right. 
And if there are problems with evolution, people say "there you are the bible is right"! You know fish live in the sea thus every thing that lives in the sea is a fish, same logic. 
Also if someone has an insight a spiritual moment, mostly they keep it to themselves. They do not want to incur the wroth of science or religion. 
Yes indeed who needs religion ?
