Junk Science

To those who use words such as prophet and so forth regarding climate change get a different religion. This one has been thoroughly debunked in some cases by scientist more eminent than those who wrote for the IPCC (remember that this stands for InterGOVERNMENTAL Panel on Climate Change) and in other cases by the IPCC's own people who are claimed to be part of the so-called consensus. 
 
Many of the UN memebr states have a vested interest in AGW and its associated carbon trading as well as using AGW as an excuse to cover up poor goverment. 
 
Al Gore based his entire mythical tirade about CO2 on the ice cores which were thoroughly debunked by newer technology showing CO2 rises lagging warming (which he should have known about before releasing his hogwash) and also the Mann et al hockey stick, debunked by statisticians who could not reproduce the results using any method known to statistics while the actual temperature data shows a minor increase which is reproducible. 
 
AGW is now based on models which do not even take into account the most active greenhouse gas, water vapor. The models are simply hypotheses looking for validation by real data which they have not found, particularly with the current verifiable cooling cycle. 
 
In addition CO2 greenhouse effects are known to be non linear, i.e. the amount of change of CO2 needs to be greater each time for the same effect. The oceans are the biggest CO2 sinks and they typically hold about fifty times as much CO2 as the atmosphere. Thus to double atmospheric CO2 would need more CO2 than is available in all of the carbon based fuels remaining in the world and the greenhouse forcing effect would be less than what has been observed to date, a lowly 0.7 degrees Celsius. 
 
The earth has gone through many climate changes with greater warming and cooling than we are going through now without any help from us. It will continue to do so long after we are gone. 
 
The earth worshippers in this forum could probably help out by volunteering to be euthanized, for the good of Terra of course.
