Comment in question 09-09-2007 06:44 Mother. There is something profound in Mark 10:14, so easily overlooked by the mainstream. But is brought to light so beautifully in Fr.Bede Griffiths' narrative regarding, the |The Complimentary of Opposites|; here was a brilliant man a scholar a Benedictine monk, he had approach his spiritual journey it seems through his great intellect. He was confronted by the divine feminine, he was being awakened to his repressed feminine side, this man of learning was confounded by what happened to him, when he could finally speak he was almost lost for words. In the language of Bede Griffiths, he described this coincidence of opposites as the |Black Madonna and the Crucified Christ|. He had been reduced to being as a child, and the Madonna was the Universal Mother, and in a sense had been Crucified along with Christ. Like you Sir, I do not march to the drum of any religion.
