Mike's comments about the Universal Mother are deadly accurate with deadly being the operative word.  
 
Of the 16 million people who die avoidably each year about three quarters are Women and Children.  
 
About 9.6 million under-5 year old infants die avoidably each year throughout the world - that's 26,300 daily or about 1,000 every hour and 18 EVERY MINUTE.  
 
The First World - and most shockingly the child-killing, war-supporting Racist Religious Right Republican (R4) Bush-ites - is in denial over this utterly avoidable carnage of Women and Children (for details see "Body Count"; see links at the top of the link provided below).
