Question

Dr Gideon, I am presently involved in a tedious argument with someone who stubbornly refuses to accept your 8 Million figure on the basis that that you are a biochemist and thus hardly qualified in the field of mortality rates in war! (his assertion not mine) 
 
He insists on a justification concerning your authority to speak on this matter. 
 
I have suggested he wrote directly to this site & asked you himself. Somehow, I doubt that he will. 
 
So, for the sake of other more genuine readers, I would be grateful to have something from you which will deal with this suspect troll once-and-for-all.
