Deep Mind

Dear Gideon, 
 
I have come to the conclusion that perhaps our only hope for the future lies in the activities connected with the artistic process. You and I have expended a veritable deluge of words and no lack of rational exposition in an attempt to persuade our fellow humans to abandon this precipitous descent to death our race seems bent of pursuing. Speaking only for myself, I have found this attempt nearly completely futile. That is why I have decided to pursue my own path toward peace, love and justice through artistic means. The video, Kindertotenlied which you so generously helped me promote is only the first step in that direction. I will soon be posting a short story, Rendition, that is my attempt to get people to understand, on a visceral level, just what it is like to be tortured.  
 
I suppose I will not refrain entirely from didacticism in the future. It is just that I am banking my future hopes for creating a positive effect - upon art, both political and non political. Actually I think all art is political.  
 
I loved the reproduction of "Deep Mind" and only wish I could see it in person.
