Another double edged sword

Thanks Marjorie for this exposure. As Condi Rice has mentioned in other circles, it is stableization the US looks for more than a true democracy or even human rights. Human rights are of concern only if it helps to demonize those they wish to bring down , such as Iran. Of course stability in Pakistan, especially if it is of the dictator kind, such as is in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and others becomes very useful and essential for any military action towards Iran, U.S., Isreal or otherwise the ultimate energy control prize, IRAN. Democratic political presidential canidates testify to this objective or eyes of control on Iran already. For congress to do nothing except the usual lip service is all we can expect, in addition to the BUSH VETO. Only hope is for the dollar to fall or mass movements to disrupt the flow of the war and economic agendas of the US and the market allies in EU, Britton, Austrailia and Canada agendas. Hopefully Musharraf will fall and the rightful truly elected can regain power.
