Beautiful article. I couldn't say it any better. One thing though. 'All My Loving ' is as beautiful a song, today as it was 43 years ago. It is not "quaint". Why do people need to be so self conscious, and apologetic whenever they speak of the Beatles' early songs? The point of music is to excite and touch the soul, with a beautiful melody, and that's what all the Beatles' music did, whether they were singing about something "important" or not.
