CORP0RATE
Dr Gideon,
When I saw the rhetoric/spin at conclusion of the Bali Conference, I realized this was pie in the sky stuff, all just words window dressing. No body can take politicians seriously, surely?
You have put into numbers, what I have always argued for years. Australia has lots of sunshine, and in the south, lots of wind. I am not so sure about geothermal resources. With improving science and technology, I am sure Australia's green energy problems would easily be answered, truth is the problem is of Australia's own making just an illusion. Different countries would have to adapt to the natural resources available, some places in the world may not have the sun, by heck they have the wind,(Shetland),(King Island), opposite sides of the world.
The politicians seem to be pawns on the corporate chess board. I think the only thing about global warming, that concerns the corporations, is can they capitalize on it?
