What can I say, you have covered so much ground. 
Professor James Lovelock is person I am well aware of. I liked his way of expressing complex ideas with things like black and white daisies and the idea of a tipping point, and so on. I went to that link you supplied and read the full 
article. If he is only half right the World of Mankind is going to change badly. 
The World? she will be o.k. 
I would asked the R4s, (they know who they are), to go to that link and think really think, maybe for the first time in their lives. Or are they going to sit on their chairs, and hope the preacher man will say nice words? 
Of the twelve points the one that caught my attention most was point 7. 
But like I said, what can one say?
