Mike - I agree that point #7 - Practice and demand zero tolerance for spin, lying, racism, bigotry, and imposition of irrational religious beliefs on children and on society - is fundamental.  
 
It is appallingly general ACTIVE DENIAL and PASSIVE DENIAL (in simpler language, LYING) by Mainstream media and politicians in the American Murdochracy (and in the Western Murdochracies in general) that has allowed the nation that gave the World "all men are created equal and have an unalienable right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness" to be continuing to grossly violate the injunction in practice - excess deaths in post-1950 US Asian wars now total 24 million; post-invasion excess deaths in the Occupied Iraqi and Afghan Territories total (upper estimate) 8 million (see: US-imposed Asian Holocaust).
