G'Day
G'Day Mate

Well first I'd like to thank Dr Gideon on a fabulous article it is not everyday that I come across such a confronting article and in favour of my people.
I am an Aboriginal from Adelaide, South Australia- Australia..

It is true what Dr Gideon is saying my father was born next to river under the Reserve Act which kept the Indigenous people here in fringe camps much the same as other indigneous people in their countries: while there rights, lifestyle, land, children, belief's, self confidence and more was slowly taken from them.
I was wondering yesterday if people around the world know and understand some of the unbelievable acts committed against my people historically and at present..

Like I mentioned previously my Father was born in 1943 under the White Australia policy act but it was called the Australia Act of 1901 that gave the government power to say who they wanted here and who they didn't.. So they more or less gave themselves the right to be racist.. lucky them..
Back to my Dad so until he was 23 before he was counted as a human being as Dr Gideon said my father was counted as an animal or a plant due to the state governments having to pay tax per head of person so to help themselves and save some money they decided to put us in the too hard basket or in the animal box nice way to be ..

Then to discover this article it was a sweet sigh of relief to people are trying to spread the word and allow people all over the world to know the true history of our country. I believe thats all our people and I want is for people to know the truth in order to create some kind of understanding...

"But ignorance is bliss" and has kept many a people happy for many a years but people maybe its time to change and to the people who have written negative comments on this article should read about their history before they decide to comment on it...
Thats what I did..
Thanks for a time and patience and hope you enjoyed reading what I had to say :)
PS- I love the phrase PC Racism because that is exactly what is like for us Indigenous people here in Asutralia in 2008 we have been over politically corrected that now its just normal to our everyday life..
Peace
