Disunion

There is a Sufi tale I like: There was a man out walking one evening, and he saw a man on his hands and knees looking for something under a street lamp. The man asked the fellow under the lamp what he was doing. The man under the lamp replied “I'm looking for my keys , I have lost my keys”. So the passer by got down and searched with him, after a while he said, “Are you sure you lost them here?” 
“Oh no!”, was the reply, “I lost them down the street a bit”. “So why are you looking here?”, “ Well”, came the reply, “I can see here under the light”. 
The US is stuck in the wrong place the nation is hanging on to a past, which in reality is an illusion in its self. 
Much of the world is moving on, and in desperation the US is trying to drag the world down to its level. 
Welfare cost too much, other countries do fine, but they are not caught up in expensive and useless wares. Universal health care does not have to be socialist. After all don\\\'t people pay taxes and watch them get swallowed up in the warfare of empire expansion. Do the people of the US realize that all empires fall.
