Comment in question 21-02-2008 22:16 What McCain did for Vicki... or actually what he did for her clients: In ‘99 he exerted influence on behalf of Paxton Communications (her client) in a contentious FCC review in exchange for a $20,000 campaign contribution and the use of their corporate jet. Over the years she touted herself as the “go to” lobbyist who could get John McCain to bend or ignore the rules and get things done for her telecommunications clients. Hopefully more and more will finally be coming out now that the cat is out of the bag. Try reading a little background on this stuff before you accuse people better informed than you of asserting false allegations based on “know real knowledge“. These allegations are definitely worthy of print and discussion. Don’t jump the gun my friend. Bush and his heir apparent haven’t taken away all of our freedoms yet. And by the way, I have nothing against the old letch getting a little on the side, if that should prove to be the case. It’s just that I find his behavior hypocritical and in contradiction of his stance for moral rectitude and honor, should that prove to be the case. Why are these Godly Repugs so eager to condemn us and forgive themselves when caught with their hands in someone else’s pants. Bad judgment? You bet. McCain has made so many claims for bad judgment over the years, you wonder if he has any judgment left. Peace, Bob Registered |
