This article is absurd. Arar is not a law abiding citizen, but someone who commited murder. We need to protect our country from these people... 
 
Only 28 people over the past 20 years have been held on security certificates. Canada is hardly overusing this piece of legislation. Tip: don't murder people as a visitor to this country and you won't end up in custedy.
