Comment in question 10-03-2008 19:20 Where are they Where are theyounger genreation who are suppose to have all the hormonal surge to open teh flood gates for change. Maybe we need to ask our educators. Maybe we need to ask some parents. Isn't there somethng somewhere about civil disobedience. Have they finally succeeded in destroying the next generations rejection of the status quo. I have herd it said numerous times by this retiring generation that if change is going to happen it will have to come from the next, as if the world owes them a living, and they are retiring now. Well when they learn their retirments have been used as colateral in thewar on terror and for speculation on globalization. There will be a real mad older generation of X vietnam and other time period folk who will be real mad, and a generation of jelly minded offspring they failed in numerous departments on developing. But by then it will be to late and the final blows will have laid their foundations, silently or possibly violently. One might say they are doing no more than they see their parents are doing, working it out in the voting booth. Guest |
