What is it with this subject... Why does it make people's brains go-down quicker than Miss Divine Brown doing Eddie Murphy...?

Seriously for a minute... What's wrong with using 'SOLAR POWER' to bring the boiler water up to boiling point & then only afterwards using the coal gas oil or even (Heaven Forbid) those four yucky dangerous radioactive piles of money to take-it from boiling-point up to 'SUPERHEATED STEAM'...? I'm-not overly into the number crunching of science... Just the basic logic... In a time of 'ENERGY CRISIS' verses 'GREENHOUSE GAS' why the hell & heaven isn't 'SIMPLE SOLAR POWER' being used to take that %Percentage of 'HEAT' into the water... I-have a feeling it would-be the lion's share of the energy used (From room temperature up-to boiling point) & I-just keep-on seeing an illogical dumb deadpan reaction to the idea... What's going-on here...? Deliberate dumbness again?
