Sit down and listen
The rule of law applies to immigration as well. WE can't have millions of people pouring into the country and expect only a portion of the population to pay for everything. There has to be rules. WE can't have anarchy. Mike thinks it is "hate" to not like illegal immigration. I think it is frustration, not hate. He is confusing the emotions. Frustration can sometimes lead to anger. Mike interprets this as hate. Frustration leading to anger is not healthy for our communities. We take in more than 1 million immigrants a year legally into this country. It is not the case, which we want to stop immigration altogether. We just don't think it is wise to have people pour into the country unabated. Please, give us a break! Mike seems to only see one side. His side only. He leaves no room to see another point of view. We all understand and don't blame them for coming here, even illegally, but it is up to us to understand and weigh the impact on the existing citizens and legal immigrants and to set parameters for the immigration of additional people. This is only fair. We want to absorb immigrants, not be overwhelmed by them. In the long and short term, it is better for them as well.
