Medical decisions
This quote:

'In a free society government operatives don’t pick objectives for people. People pick them for themselves. A candidate who respected freedom would propose ending governmental involvement in health care entirely and slashing taxes without conditions so that people could make medical decisions for themselves.'

This is an old chestnut, the US so called health system is looked on in horror by civilized countries.

A government in Australia back in the 1970s dumped universal health care when elected, they were dumped by the electorate next election and were out of power for many years. Needless to say the newly elected government restored the health care.

Having endured eleven years of the right wing coalition, not once was it muted to remove the health care system, they knew it was a death sentence. Howard the PM even said more than once, "you don't want a health system like the American one".

With your proscription, the US could end up with much more than 25% uninsured, unlike Australia, 0%.

But we Aussies are a pathetic brainwashed bunch, yeah?

Boy are you right wing ore what.
