Paragraph 4 about depleted uranium contains the following errors -

(Depleted Uranium) weapons and devices -- DU is not illegal; there are no DU weapons and devices - there are kinetic energy penetrator munitions; DU is more than likely not being used at present; the US does not face any foe with armored vehicle targets, it has not faced such a foe since 2003 but the anti-DU crusader drum just beats on despite there really being nothing happening - DU was not used over and over again; it was used to destroy tanks and armored vehicles in the Gulf War, in the Balkans and perhaps in Afghanistan (it was not used in any aerial bombing of Afghanistan, another of the perennial false drumbeats of the anti-DU crusade. The writer is a typical disciple of the crusaders; he just regurgitates without thought and has not got a clue what he is talking about 
 
in direct opposition to signed United Nations agreements, -- There are no agreements, let alone signed United Nations agreements that ban the use of DU - they do not ban any other bullet and DU is no more harmful nor any less harmful than any other bullet fired in war.

More nonsense, use of DU has not degraded the US in the eyes of the world; there fortunately are enough scientists in the world who understand that DU is just one form of a naturally occuring element in the Earth's crust, uranium. The writer in his political zeal fails to understand that there has been uranium on Earth since it was created and there always will be uranium on the Earth. It is in the writer's backyard, you the reader's backyard, in the writer's air and in you the reader's air along with water. It is present in extremely small amounts, but it is pretty much everywhere, including having been used to date 1000 year old ice from deep in the Antarctica ice.

More nonsense - Iraq appears to be a blunder, but much of the world believed that Saddam Hussein's government had weapons of mass destruction and it had not accounted for their destruction. The writer should actually read the war crimes trials from WW-II -- I presume that they have not - when they do, they will understand what a war crime is and more importantly what it is not.
