More of the same...

Though I appreciate Don's attempt to paint a happy face on this ticket, reality is much different. 
 
Biden is a lifetime member of the political Elite, a first rate war-monger, internationalist, interventionist, and self-pronounced Zionist. His family story is engaging, but we all have tales that should command empathy and sympathy. Such a background does not impart some moral superiority or special gift for leadership.  
 
His selection as Obama's running mate confirms for anyone with eyes to see that the candidate of "Change" is, in fact, no more that a rhetorically-gifted front man for the Establishment. 
 
The installation of these men and their handlers (or McCain/whoever, for that matter) will insure that Amerika is able to continue down its same destructive Corporatist path. We will see continued war (the degree of it really matters little), continued looting of the nation (in the name of "Free Trade"), continued destruction of the economy (in the service of corporate bottom lines), continued inattention to our social services, infrastructure, and health care system, and, continued support for the military adventurism of the Neo-Cons in Israel and the US. 
 
If you want real change, then you need to stop supporting the mainline candidates (all carefully picked for us by the Establishment)and throw your support to people of principle. Barr, McKinney, or Nader - it matters not - any one them would be superior to the Democratic or Republican tickets!
