What a great article! 
The USA has exported its brand of politics to its friends, dare our politicians refuse the Fuhrers persuasion? I think not, no matter what the Fuhrer embarks upon in the World, the Australian coalition party, regardless of what they may say now before an election, will support him, if the Labour party wins, they will step into line or face the consequences. 
Right now we are being told that unions are evil, mind you, can anyone explain to me how the AMA, the Pilots Union or whatever they call themselves, the Law Societies, and the various employers groups are not unions.  
Where Britain stands now that Blair has left the government, I do not know. I suspect a lot of spin, and no real change.  
I agree, change will come no matter what the Neocons might dream of for sure, and because of their sociopath thinking, it will be messy.
