Step back.

What affront, to decide the US will change the word, the old 'The US way or the wrong way, attitude. 
You see Todd your heart may be in the right place, but you have fallen into the very pitfall that has been dogging the US world relations, when you wrote, 
'Yes, America must change. She must rejoin the world and provide leadership and stability'.Whats with this leadership attitude, why can't the US just be part of the 'Brotherhood of Humanity' working as part of the whole, a part of the homogeneous mix of people of good will. 
US world leadership has caused misery throughout the world for many decades. 
So for every bodies sake including the sake of the USA, maybe it is about time for the US to step back for a while.
