Balanced View of Mumbai

This is the kind of balanced context in which to view the recent Mumbai tragedy. I would underscore a point you made in passing - that Mumbai offers a real opportunity for Hindu extremists that they will no doubt exploit to full advantage in the upcoming Indian elections. Whoever is responsible for Mumbai, extremists on all sides are about to benefit from it just as they did after 9/11. This time, might the world learn its lesson and head off a real tragedy in the making?
