Why are we still at war??? Because we are still afraid. As long as we are afraid that there are "terrorists" out there, the war on those terrorists is valid in some people's minds.

I can cite no time in history where there were not potential terrorists someplace that could impact the USA in some way. This is obvious to any rational person. How Bush was able to start something as patently poorly though out as a "war on terror" without somebody asking what is the end game, I personally, can't explain.

I do suggest we "follow the money". Who profits? I suggest it is the military, those who supply the military, and those politicians who can cite experience fighting terror as a reason to stay in office.

Who pays? Sadly the most ignorant of the population who are simply afraid of everything and don't know what to do to lesson that fear. who now feel they are finally, DOING SOMETHING. who pay with their hard earned cash and the lives of their children.

America simply is not perfect.
