No Point Talking

One thing becomes more and more obvious with every agonizing day: This moronic machine is incapable of understanding anything other than "the current course" and "more force". 
 
The two points that seem to have been permanently swept out of ALL discussion on both sides of the divide (i.e. us and them) are: 
1) The Taliban offered up OBL to a third party country to face international justice ID THE US COULD PROVIDE EVIDENCE OF HIS INVOLVEMENT IN 9-11 
2) The US could provide NO EVIDENCE. 
 
The US is doomed to follow this course to its final conclusion with vast human and environmental cost yet to come, perhaps more than already witnessed. before we reach that conclusion the ignorant brain-dead western masses will have begun to feel serious material consequences of what's being done in their name. 
Quite obviously, the very best we can hope for is that the Taliban and the Iraqi resistance (and the Iranian military?) do the arse-kicking and change their plans. 
It's just disgusting to watch. 
 
You have to see the funny side, though. To think that people who had billions of dollars in wealth and could have lived their own lives and their descendents theirs for generations to come in absolute luxury - were so greedy for more money and power that they destroyed their planet. 
Sad.
