Getting What You Pay For

Perhaps we should thank Vice President Biden for clearly articulating this U.S. foreign policy principle: "The US will evaluate the shape of its assistance programme based on the composition of the new government and the policies it is advocating." But I will hold my applause until this principle is applied to a certain neighbor of Lebanon that takes its $3 billion per year and then sabotages U.S. foreign policy and makes a fool of its president. What part of "no new settlements" does Netanyahu not understand? The roaring current of guns and dollars down the aid pipeline seems to be affecting his hearing.
