ACTION SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS
In the past, Israel has often stated its willingness to make “painful concessions”. However, fact is that it in the past 10 years we have seen settlement building after settlement building and settlement expansion after settlement expansion. In the light of this and despite wishing peace onto both peoples, Israeli and Palestinian, I harbor a somewhat cynical view: I am sure that Israel will employ 1001 cunning ways of keeping most of the land it has grabbed since many of its citizens consider Greater Israel a biblical promise. Also, I have the shocking impression that a sizable number of Israelis do not have a moral problem with that as they consider Non-Jews in general as inferior, and Arabs even more so. Maybe these people should bear in mind that the roles of wrongdoer and victim can change overnight. No people or nation has a monopoly on either role
