2008 update on Cost of Bush Wars
As of September 2008, the accrual cost of the Bush War in Iraq alone is about $3 trillion (according to Economics Nobel Laureate Professor Joseph Stiglitz) and the human cost of the Bush Wars - including that in Iraq under Sanctions, the invasions and occupations of Haiti, Somalia, Iraq and Afghanistan and 0.6 million opiate drug-related deaths from US restoration of the Taliban-destroyed Afghan opium industry - now totals 9-11 million excess deaths (see: 9-11 Excuse for US Global Genocide. The real 9-11 atrocity: 9-11 Million Dead in Bush Wars).
