The CIA Mind at Work
2013.04.17 06:53:24
The comments of "Former CIA Officer" Robert Grenier might make an interesting study in psychology. Interestingly, the "People who hate our Freedom and Democracy" now may be "Domestic Terrorists" with some sort of grievance against the government and the woven tale of far-fetched speculation pulls in imagery of the American Revolution and the national climate of discontent. How sad it all is. Guns are not the problem. The NRA is not the problem. Gun control won't calm the waters. No peace in the world. No Justice. No peace of mind.

There are, in my view, at least three important reasons why Bradley Manning should be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.

Let's hope the dear lady rests among friends
2013.04.09 06:40:06
With the passing of the late Margret Thatcher all those who mourn her passing will hope that she will spend eternity among friends; so do the rest of us. Indeed, I personally hope that Mr Pinochet is the first to greet her; his table set with his best china to serve her tea and scones. Let us all hope you find the just peace you deserve for all eternity.

2012.11.26 03:37:09

Darren Wolfe talks about peace, liberty, gun rights, and security from the point of view of arming the people to protect themselves while disarming the government. The talk was based on his opening statement at the Greater Philadelphia Thinking Society (http://www.meetup.com/thinkingsociety/events/88133332/) sponsored gun control debate where he took the pro-gun side.

Hiroshima Day Protest 2011 King of Prussia, PA (video)
2011.08.07 20:33:34

The Brandywine Peace Community strikes again, this time protesting against Lockheed Martin building parts for nuclear missiles on the anniversary of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima, Japan during World War II. The protest went well with speeches, music, and the use of crime scene tape to block the entrance. The civil disobedience squad was arrested trying to deliver documents to Lockheed Martin.

Fedstock II (video)
2011.04.29 21:35:16

Once again Philadelphia raised the bar for an End the Fed rally with Fedstock II. Jordan Page played his great music. Yours truly was the first speaker followed by a great line up, Scott Davis, Ernest Hancock, and Adam Kokesh. A big thanks to Mike Salvi, Rob Pepe, the sponsors, and everyone else that worked hard to make Fedstock happen.

Focus on Peace: A Peace Movement for Everyone
2011.03.07 04:35:34

Like most libertarians I want to advocate for peace. I’ve worked with the left’s peace movement and have been frustrated by the fact that they insist on attaching their social and economic agendas to their activism. They then strangely say they have an "inclusive" peace movement. An excerpt from "An Inclusive Antiwar Movement?" illustrates this point well:

Martin Luther King and the Empowerment of the War Machine: A Libertarian’s View (video)
2011.01.19 05:59:01
On Martin Luther King Day I had the pleasure of joining the "Make War No More" protest at the defense contractor Lockheed Martin's property in King of Prussia, PA. It is the largest arms manufacturer in the world which is the reason it has been the object of these protests for so many years. The people that were arrested in an act of civil disobedience there have earned our respect. See video:

An Inclusive Antiwar Movement?
2010.11.05 19:00:29

The International Action Center (IAC) is having a conference this Saturday, November 6, 2010. Named the "Regional ANTIWAR Conference and a National meeting to STOP FBI Repression", they’re hailing it as "…a discussion of a new kind of unified & inclusive antiwar movement that can challenge the wars abroad and at home".

Philadelphia Libertarians and Socialists Protest the FBI's Raids on Antiwar Activists (video)
2010.09.29 20:25:38

In the face of the government's attempts to silence antiwar activism, libertarians and socialists came together to protest. The object of their outrage was the series of raids conducted by the FBI on antiwar activists in Minnesota, Chicago, Michigan, and North Carolina; and the issuance of subpoenas to appear before a grand jury to many of the same. While the government claims that the raids are seeking evidence of material support of terrorism, the peace activists insist that it is a fishing expedition intended to harass. Below is video of the Philadelphia protest that took place on September 28, 2010:

Unity at a Peace Rally
2010.09.13 00:34:52

Just like the September 11th of nine years ago this year’s was also a perfect late Summer day in West Chester, Pennsylvania. On this sad anniversary of the horrible terrorist attacks I had the pleasure of joining the weekly peace vigil held by United for Peace & Justice.
