Police Corruption at Penn Station

Cops take food without paying at two NYC locations.

First, at Riese fast food places in Penn Station cops order food and when the clerk states the price the cops stares them down, intimidates them and walks away without paying. Even the managers have given up looking to avoid a showdown or because they feel they must pay this invisible tax in order to receive police services in the future. Since this is a 24 hour operation it is thought the take here might be several hundred dollars a day. Second, groups of cops, large enough a group to intimidate, walk into the employees cafeteria at the Grand Hyatt on 42ns street, eat, and walk out without paying. Employees are intimidated.

pic of little girl on "bravery" vid

Where did you acquire that pic of the little wounded girl in the purple for your "bravery" video.  Do you realize that is a phoney picture?  I found two totally different pictures of that very same girl with the same guy holding her dressed in different clothes with different wounds.  I have those pictures saved if you want them.  Do you really represent the truth on this site?

George

MWC: The video has a source and was not made by MWC. Although we are curious to see your pictures.

just a note on motorcycles & pollution

With little digging & considerable listening, it appears the real culprits of the motorcycle shutdown in Guangzhou were the organized mototcycle robbery gangs. These biker robbers are well-known in Guangzhou, some maintaining they are from out in the suburbs. . .or beyond. It is sad that the working people are adversely affected but crime from theft should plummet. . .untul these guys figure out another scam. Sad, too, that a nice alternative to taxicabs have been abolished in the process: motorcycle taxis. Was the pollution issue just cover to not alert the thieves of the crackdown on their actvities?

I don't know what you want to do with this, but I thought it worth noting. Perhaps your "reporter" in Guangzhou could actually dig up a story? I would have sent this last week but I was in hospital for surgery; nothing major, but I'm stuck at home for awhile.
