Oz/Zo, US/SU & Erewhon Realized

In Samuel Butler’s novel “Erewhon” (the approximate reverse of “nowhere”) he described a society in which normal values were turned on their head (violent sociopaths were treated with great kindness whereas the sick were ostracized or imprisoned). This has now been realized in the Bush-ite New World Order in which the Western World – including Oz - has lined up behind the racist mass murderers of the Bush Administration and one under-5 year old infant dies every minute in the Occupied Iraqi and Afghan Territories (see MWC News ). Indeed these ongoing atrocities provide cogent reasons for describing the US as SU, Oz as Zo and Australia as Ailartsua.

The Bush-ite Oz Government asserted that Iraq had Weapons of Mass Destruction (rejecting expert advice to the contrary) and when no WMD were found post-invasion,  persisted with the fantasy (again, despite expert advice). Notoriously, the Bush-ite Oz Government won an election based on a xenophobic falsehood that Muslim Asian refugees had thrown their children overboard into the Indian Ocean (despite hundreds of available witnesses to the contrary reality).

Worse still, the Bush-ite Oz Government has been staunchly sceptical about climate change and Australia, like Bush America, refuses to sign the Kyoto Protocol, or to take strong action to curb carbon dioxide (CO2) pollution. Australia is the big country with the biggest per capita annual carbon dioxide pollution (closely followed by Canada and the US). Australia with 0.3% of the world’s population is responsible for 3.0% of the World’s annual oil-, gas-and coal-derived carbon dioxide pollution - the US with 4.7% of the World’s population produces 22.2% of the CO2 pollution (as compared to India with 17.0% of the world’s people producing only 4.1% of the CO2 pollution from these sources). Greedy, selfish, dishonest Bush-ite Australia and Bush America are involved in Climate Genocide and their Administrations are Climate Criminals – only recently an Indian island, Lohachara, with a population of 10,000, disappeared  forever under the waves of the Bay of Bengal.

White Australia is aware that many Indigenous Australians (Aborigines) live in Third World conditions. Aborigines were only recognized as theoretically equal human beings by referendum in 1967 after 2 centuries of what has been described by expert scholars as the Aboriginal Genocide. However lying politicians and media protect White Australians from the knowledge that the Aboriginal Genocide is continuing and that the “annual death rate” of Indigenous Australians is a shocking 2.2%, similar to that of 2.5% for Australian sheep.

However the most shocking denial involves Bush-ite Australia resolutely ignoring the horrendous civilian death toll in the Occupied Iraqi and Afghan Territories where Oz is America’s staunchest ally. I have been regularly informing the Australian media and Federal MPs about this matter over the last few years. To my knowledge, the ONLY members of Federal Parliament  to have actually raised this matter in Federal Parliament have been the Australian Greens, the Australian Democrats (minor humanitarian parties) and the former Shadow Attorney General, the Honorable Kelvin Thomson MP of the Opposition Labor Party.

However last week the political career of Mr Thomson was suddenly crushed after the convenient Bush-ite “discovery” that 7 years ago he wrote a pro forma reference for an electoral constituent who in hindsight turns out to be a criminal. Mr Thompson ethically resigned from his top position (noting that the Opposition is now leading the Bush-ites by about 60% to 40% in the polls and the Bush-ites have been responding by a desperate campaign of personal smearing). As reported in the top newspaper The Age (Melbourne; 10 March 2007):  “The Law Institute of Victoria said Mr Thomson's resignation was a "ludicrous overreaction". Institute president Geoff Provis said there was no evidence that Mr Thomson had done anything wrong, and that the use of "past associations" to damn politicians was approaching "McCarthyist America".”

What follows is a letter that I have sent to many Federal MPs and to major Australian media about Mr Kelvin Thomson.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thanks to the Hon. Mr Kelvin Thomson MP we now know the true meaning of the word “Honorable” before the names of AUSTRALIAN MPs.

Mr Thomson unwittingly wrote a pro forma reference for someone with a criminal record in the interests of his electorate. As soon as this was brought to his attention and confirmed he resigned from an eminent position with the words: “I’ve made a mistake, I’ve ‘fessed up to it, I accept responsibility for it.” (see The Age, Melbourne, 10 March 2007.

Mr Thomson  is (to MY present knowledge) the ONLY Federal Labor MP to have formally asked the Government about horrendous civilian deaths in Iraq as revealed in the top medical journal The Lancet, 2006 (Hansard, Question No. 4844, in writing, on 31 October 2006).

Mr Thomson is one of very few members of Federal Parliament who are FIT to be Attorney General of Australia – most of the others have actively or passively violated proposed German EU Genocide/holocaust Denial Laws (punished by up to 3 years in prison) or existing International Laws about complicity in Genocide/holocaust (punished by up to life imprisonment) in relation to horrendous post-invasion civilian deaths in Occupied Iraq and Occupied Afghanistan.

From The New Statesman, London, 12 March 2007: “It must be stated that the post-invasion Iraqi excess deaths (avoidable deaths, deaths that did not have to happen) now total ONE MILLION as of March 2007, after 4 years of war and as estimated from data from the top US medical epidemiology group in the World’s top Public Health School (the Nobel Laureate-containing Bloomberg School of Public Health) at the top US Johns Hopkins University, published peer-reviewed in the top UK medical journal The Lancet and endorsed by 27 top Australian medical experts.”.

The silence is deafening. Whatever you call it – benign racism, politically correct racism, PC racism, looking the other way, holocaust-ignoring, holocaust denial, walking by on the other side, or just plain DENIAL – White Australia is uncritically committed to its alliance with the world’s #1 terrorist state and simply does not want to know about the horrendous consequences of its actions. Oz has become Zo, the US has become the SU, satire has become reality and Erewhon has been realized – the Truth has been tipped upside down Downunder.
