Bowing to Boucher

This is in reference of news item: “Quetta, where the top U.S diplomat, Richard Boucher held talks with opposition lawmakers and officials - a delegation of provincial lawmakers, led by Kachkul Ali Baloch, leader of the opposition in Balochistan Assembly, met the US Assistant Secretary of State and conveyed their reservations over the government plan to hold elections”. And their master placation: “that US seeks transparent and fair elections in Pakistan.”

The whole lot of Pakistan leadership; secular or clerical and ‘powerful’ or ‘powerless’ has shown absolute unanimity in bowing before the US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs, Richard Boucher -  and praying for blessing!!! And now we can see that our pack of political animals is united in licking their Master shoes for blessing.

The whole abovementioned lot appears competing & trying hard to put forward & prove themselves more docile than the others before the US Master, Richard Boucher!!!

They are inviting rather praying the US, Western even Indian intervention and that too simply for their personal blessing!!! Our political lot looks more unrelenting than those in uniform right from the day one to bent more and bow more before their US & Western masters!!! Bowing more is the hallmark of our political lot!!! And they were/are not shying a little rather Liaqat Baloch of MMA, Yousaf Raza Gilani of PPPP along with others were defending their ugliest demonstration in a program aired on Ajj TV channel Jun 14, 2007. To put across the thesis in a single sentence I would choose to submit; ‘the dearth of competent leadership in any nation is the death of the nation’ - Pakistan like the whole Muslim World is no exception.
