Well, yes. He did it. A Chinese toy manufacturer. And then he killed himself. With reports by the ubiquitous Liu, "a manager." But, well, wait. Let's look at  this again. Who paid him? That is, who hired him? Remember that phrase from your youth, if you're old enough: It's swell, It's Mattel. The Chinese organization was a Mattel company! The Chinese company's actions were condoned by Mattel. Not that Mattel's the only US company ever to have purposely and with foresight set out to increase profits at its consumers' expense. No, no. But Mattel is the American company--perhaps the first?--that has found away to side-step irresponsible behavior and lay the blame elsewhere...and get away with it. Hadn't we better look at this report again? Mattel's the biggie, but not the only.

"Mommy, mommy! Liu hit me!"

"Liu, did you hit your little sister?"

"She made me do it! I didn't do it on my own."

These are the lines coming from the new line of American Pie Dolls, by Mattel.
