(1) The Israeli Government ruling the Holy Land is elected by a MINORITY of the 50% of the inhabitants of the Holy Land who are Jewish Israelis (3.8 million Occupied Palestinians don’t get to vote and many of their democratically-elected representatives are in Israeli prisons). We are all familiar with the appalling Bush-ite violations of the US democratic processes in 2 Presidential elections involving a Mainstream media-brainwashed electorate.

(2) Israel in its short 60 year history has invaded and partly occupied ALL of its neighbours, has completely occupied the Holy Land, has militarily attacked 5 other countries (Tunisia, Uganda, Iraq, Libya and the US – the USS Liberty in 1967 ) and has been complicit in US terrorist atrocities in South America, Africa and the Middle East. The US has actually invaded a swathe of countries, including in the post-war era ALONE, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Haiti, Somalia, Libya, Iraq, Diego Garcia, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Serbia and Korea. The US has in addition been involved in terrorism, treason, civil wars, overthrow of elected governments and related crimes throughout the world and has military bases in scores of countries. The post-invasion excess deaths in the Occupied Palestinian, Iraqi and Afghan Territories now (September 2007) total 0.3 million, 1.0 million and 2.5 million, respectively).

(3) Israel presently occupies part of Lebanon, part of Syria and ALL of the Holy Land. The US currently occupies Diego Garcia, Iraq, Afghanistan and part of Cuba. However US surrogates currently occupy Haiti, Somalia, Palestine, part of Lebanon (Shebaa Farms) and part of Syria.

(4) The US and Israel variously repeatedly threaten to attack other countries (Iran being the most threatened country); the Israelis recently bombed Syria and is currently involved in state terrorism in the Middle East, South Asia and Africa; and the US backs Baluchi terrorists attacking Iran from Pakistan.

(5) The US has the biggest nuclear arsenal in the world with some 12,000 nuclear weapons; Israel reportedly has some 200 nuclear warheads.

(6) Both the US and Israel have used enriched uranium to make nuclear bombs.

(7) Israel refuses to sign the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty; the US is a signatory but violates the NPT by NOT adhering to the nuclear disarmament obligations, by developing new weapons and by supporting the rogue, nuclear terrorist state Israel.

(8) The US and Israel voted NO to the IAEA Resolution opposing nuclear weapons in the Middle East; at the recent vote 47 Western supporters of Israel abstained from the vote; Ireland was the only EU country to vote YES for the motion..

(9) Neither the US nor Israel will allow international inspection of their weapons-related nuclear programs;

(10) The US and Apartheid Israel are gross Holocaust Abusers, Holocaust Committers and Holocaust deniers – they dishonestly exploit the WW2 Jewish Holocaust to justify Racist Zionist occupation of Muslim countries, notably Palestine, and threats to bomb Iran; the US, Israeli and pro-US-Israeli Western media have almost comprehensively ignored recent evidence for 1.2 million post-invasion, violence–related Iraqi deaths (see MWC News: http://mwcnews.net/content/view/16802/42/ );

(11) The racist Bush-ites and racist Zionists support the Zionist regime occupying the whole of the Holy land for over 40 years as well as lands of its neighbours; the human cost of US-Israeli imperialism (outlined in #2) amounts to a Palestinian Genocide, an Iraqi Genocide and an Afghan Genocide with a total of about 15 million refugees, 2.7 million post-invasion under-5 infant deaths and nearly 6 million post-war, sanctions and invasion deaths (commensurate with the death toll in the WW2 Jewish Holocaust).

(12) The leading state terrorist countries, the US, Apartheid Israel and their Allies, conveniently classify the democratically-elected Hamas Palestinian Authority of the Occupied Palestinian Territory and the overwhelmingly Muslim Lebanese-supported Hezbollah in Lebanon as “terrorists”. Apartheid Israel rejects Palestinian democracy (locking up scores of elected Palestinians and ignoring an overwhelming Occupied Palestinian demand that they leave; ditto, the Racist Bush-ite Coalition has locked up tens of thousands of Indigenous Iraqis and ignores overwhelming Occupied Iraqi demands (by 92% of Iraqi respondents in a recent poll) that they leave).

In the Ahmadinejad versus the genocidal, nuclear terrorist, racist, lying, war-making, foreign country-occupying, holocaust-denying Racist Zionists and Racist Bush-ites, Ahmadinejad comes up smelling of roses.

The false, war-mongering demonization of Ahmadinejad and Iran by the Racist Zionists (RZs), the Racist Bush-ites (RBs) and their racist Allies around the world goes well beyond “the pot calling the kettle black”. It is egregiously false demonizing propaganda as a prelude to the planned war-criminal devastation of a remote, peaceful country, Iran, with a population of over 70 million souls, three quarters of whom are Women and Children.

Peace is the only way but silence kills and silence is complicity. I research and write endlessly about the appalling human cost of the Bush War on Women and Children. Media Holocaust Commission & Denial

Australian and other Racist Bush-ite Mainstream media FALSELY decry democratically-elected Iranian President Ahmadinejad as a Holocaust denier although in his recent public statements he clearly ACCEPTS the reality of the Jewish Holocaust and merely argues that Palestinians should not have to pay for it.

However Bush-ite Mainstream media are shockingly involved in simultaneous Holocaust Commission and Holocaust Denial in their complicity in and non-reportage of the post-invasion excess deaths now totalling 0.3 million, 1.1 million and 2.5 million, respectively, in the Occupied Palestinian, Iraqi and Afghan Territories (for detailed documentation see \"Bush War Crimes trials. Thus this report from the ostensibly “liberal” Australian daily newspaper The Age, Melbourne (September 26 2007)about President Ahmadinejad\'s : “At one point he [Ahmadinejad] appeared to return to his Holocaust denial, suggesting more research from different points of view was needed. But then he continued: \"Given this historical event is a reality, we need to still question whether the Palestinian people should be paying for it or not. After all, it happened in Europe, the Palestinian people have no role to play in it.\"\"

As far as I can assess NO Australian media have reported the UK ORB Report about 1.2 million post-invasion violence-related Iraqi deaths or the corroborating testimony of top US and World medical epidemiologists Professors Burnham (Johns Hopkuins) and Roberts (Columbia) of
\"perhaps over a million deaths to date\".

As far as I know only the UK Guardian and the Los Angeles Times have reported the expert ORB assessment of 1.2 million Iraqi deaths. The BBC also reported this at the end of a news piece but with the immediate disclaimer of 20 times FEWER Iraqi deaths from \"Iraq Body Count\" whose methodology is seriously flawed according to the US experts, being based on notoriously unreliable media reports.

The label of \"Holocaust denier\" being falsely applied to President Ahmadinejad - even when simultaneously reporting his clear statement otherwise - should be firmly applied to Bush-ite Western Mainstream media.

What can decent people do? I would suggest that you simply BOYCOTT (insofar as this is possble) all racist, lying, anti-Arab anti-Semitic, Islamophobic, holocaust-ignoring and holocaust-denying Mainstream media.

I really am disappointed with…

Be warned, the next statement may cause you to shake your head, click your tongue or laugh bitterly at my ignorance: I’m not really too sure what the holocaust actually was.
Sure I have heard of it and have a vague idea of what it was about. But the fact remains that the mainstream media (and most likely the education system) has left my knowledge of the subject seriously lacking.
I don’t mean to be ignorant. So I intend to remedy this as soon as possible. Can you please suggest a good reference?
Without this basic knowledge I do not feel that I should be “allowed” an opinion of the issue at hand.

Holocaust references

Anonymous - The World War 2 Holocaust involved the mass murder of 20 million Russians, Byelorussians and Ukrainians, 6 million Poles [including 3 million Jewish Poles], 1 million Yugoslavians, 6 million Jews [also included in these other categories above] and 0.5 million Gypsies or Roma.

Often the Holocaust is taken by the Mainstream media to refer to the Jewish Holocaust - but the horrendous numbers outlined above cannot be ignored.

Denial of the Jewish Holocaust is punishable by 10 years in prison in Austria (David irving having been recently imprisoned there) and lengthy sentences elsewhere in Europe.

Now the Germans have suggested criminalizing denial or minimization of ALL major recent holocaust or genocide events - an excellent idea but in the view of some the punishment should only be the IGNOMINY of public exposure of the untruth, racism and bigotry involved (see \"Genocide Denial. There are many books on the Jewish Holocaust but some of the clearest summaries are given by
Gilbert, M. (1969), Jewish History Atlas (Weidenfeld & Nicolson, London).
Gilbert, M. (1982), Atlas of the Holocaust (Michael Joseph, London).

For accounts of the Jewish Holocaust and OTHER Holocausts in history (e.g. the \"forgotten\" man-made Bengali Holocaust in British India in WW2 that took 4 million lives and the post-1950 \"ignored\" 0.6 BILLION Muslim Holocaust) see my book \"Body Count\" [G.M. A key book on Genocide and Holocausts is also Chalk, F. & Jonassohn, K. (1990), The History and Sociology of Genocide. Analyses and Case Studies (Yale University Press, New Haven).

A suggestion: if you would like your argument and analyzes to receive serious consideration from educated Americans, consider toning down the inflammatory tone of voice you employ. This sentence, for example, "In the Ahmadinejad versus the genocidal, nuclear terrorist, racist, lying, war-making, foreign country-occupying, holocaust-denying Racist Zionists and Racist Bush-ites, Ahmadinejad comes up smelling of roses." is exactly the type of rhetoric characteristic of inflammatory propaganda, not of truth-seeking, objective discourse. I hope you will give this suggestion serious thought because Americans need to hear many of the points you make.

Orwell, Bush, PC & language

Tara, thank you very much for your comment - I accept the sense and sensibility of your comments, and the good spirit in which they are given.

HOWEVER I am a scientist and used to writing efficient, scientific English that often involves LISTS and JARGON (for which scientific journal English is much criticized).

If you edit REALITY too far (e.g for pragmatic, or market persuasion-related reasons) you end up with an Orwellian apologia as in \"1984\" in which Big Brother states \"war is peace, ignorance is strength, slavery is freedom and 2 plus 2 does not equal 4\".

Indeed this is precisely what enabled war criminal, liar, foreign country-invader, foreign country occupier, mass murderer, mass child-killer (there I go again, but the terminology is EXACT) BUSH to get up before the UN the other day and give an appalling Orwellian description (essentially as above) of America\'s actions in Occupied Iraq.

Estimates from 2 expert, independent sources (UK ORB and the US Bloomberg School of Public Health, Johns Hopkins) are of 0.8 - 1.2 MILLION VIOLENT post-invasion Occupied Iraqi deaths as of September 2007; estimates from 2 independent UN data sets are of 0.7-0.8 MILLION post-invasion NON-VIOLENT excess deaths; these indicate TOTAL post-invasion VIOLENT and NON-VIOLENT excess deaths of 1.5 -2.0 MILLION (in addition to 4 million refugees as assessed by the UNHCR).

Now we can call this Orwellian-style (as do Bush and Bush-ites) as \"freedom\", \"liberation\", \"democratic imperialism\", \"bringing democracy\", \"war for peace and freedom\" and \"war on terror\" OR we can use the English language as it is used by SCIENTISTS and SCHOLARS in general and describe this PRECISELY as holocaust, genocide, an Iraqi holocaust, an Iraqi Genocide (as defined by the UN Genocide Convention), mass murder, mass paedocide (1990-2007 under-5 infants deaths in Iraq total 1.7 million), mass child killing, active and passive genocide etc.

Indeed one can do further and describe this as racist carnage (would they dream of doing it to Europeans ?) and describe those responsible as \"genocidal, nuclear terrorist [both Israel and the US are nuclear-armed], racist, lying, war-making, foreign country-occupying, holocaust-denying Racist Zionists and Racist Bush-ites.\"

Indeed one MUST go further. All but a dozen (to my knowledge) of my relatives survived the Holocaust and I take the acutely serious message of the Holocaust as \"never again to ANYONE\" and surely \"never again to SEMITES\".

Mesopotamia is the historical heartland of Semitic culture dating back perhaps 7,000 years and Iraqis are SEMITES. Accordingly we can (after the fashion of endlessly classificatory scientists) add \"anti-Semitic\" to all of the descriptives given above.

Indeed witness the hysteria of the racist, holocaust-ignoring, Bush-ite mainstreeam media (who simply will not report the latest expert UK ORB estimate of 1.2 million Iraqi deaths) in relation to Dr Ahmadinejad who (contrary to their hysterical LIES) does NOT deny the Holocaust but simply wants more research (as do I; I still do not know what happened to perhaps several hundred more distant of my relatives) and who simply queries as to why Palestinianss, Iraqis, Iranians etc should have to pay the price of false, Holocaust martyr-insulting Racist Zionist exploitation of the Holocaust in the name of racist, Anti-Arab anti-semitic and Islamophobic invasion, conquest, disposession,disempowerment and ethnic cleansing of Arab lands.

Outstnading Jewish American scholar Professor Finkelstein (son of Holocaust survivors) has said as much in his books including the \"Holocaust Industry\" and \"Beyond Chutzpah\" but has been sacked by Catholic De Paul University after horrendous defamation by the traitorous American Racist Zionist Lobby who have (unlike Professor Finkelstein) a traitorous prime allegiance to a genocidal, nuclear terrorist, racist, lying, war-making, foreign country-occupying, holocaust-denying, ethnic cleanding Racist Zionist-run rogue state, Apartheid Israel - and this horribly contrary to the legitimate and vital interests of the US.

Down here in Australia (Oz, the Land of Oz) , Downunder, fair dinkum Aussies put it more succinctly when they routinely say \"call a spade a bloody shovel\".

ONLY 12 of my relatives

Correction to para #6 above: NOT "all but" but ONLY a dozen of my relatives survived the holocaust to my knowledge i.e. ONLY about 12 survived to my knowledge.
