Inter Milan, Serie A champions, fought back from one goal down to beat Russian champions CSKA Moscow 2-1 in their Uefa Champions League Group G clash in Moscow.

Hernan Crespo and Walter Samuel both scored second half goals for Inter, whose win took them to the top of the Group G table, while Brazilian striker Joao was on target for the Red Army side in the first half.

Inter now have six points from three matches and are two points ahead of Turkish side Fenerbahce, who play PSV Eindhoven later on Tuesday, while CSKA remain bottom with just one point.

"It was a really difficult match," said Roberto Mancini, Inter manager.

"CSKA played very well in the first half, while we had certain problems.

"Luckily after the break we managed to increase productivity and  changed things for the better."

CSKA, who needed nothing less than a win to stay in contention for a place in the knockout phase, started at a lively pace, pinning Inter back and trying to expose the visitors' defensive frailties.

Inter held firm until the half hour mark, but in the 32nd minute Daniel Carvalho, CSKA playmaker, fed striker Joao on the edge of the penalty box.

The Brazilian marksman beat Inter defender Ivan Cordoba and lobbed the ball into the top right corner of the net, over helpless goalkeeper Julio Cesar to put the hosts 1-0 up.

Just six minutes after the interval Crespo levelled at 1-1 after firing in from close range with an unopposed shot after a mix-up in the CSKA defence.

Samuel netted the winner for Inter ten minutes from time when he beat Veniamin Mandrykin, CSKA goalkeeper, with an eight-metre header from a well-delivered free-kick from Luis Figo, who was playing his 100th Champions League match.

Inter's late win condemned CSKA to their sixth-straight Champions League match without a victory.

Meanwhile in London, Arsenal demolished Slavia Prague 7-0 in Group H with a brilliant display of attacking football that resulted in their biggest ever Champions League victory.

Cesc Fabregas and Theo Walcott scored two goals each, while Aleksandr Hleb, an own goal off a Hleb shot, and a late goal from substitute Nicklas Bendtner secured Arsenal their 12th successive win in all competitions and their third consecutive win in the group.

Slavia were blown away by style, pace, panache and lethal finishing making it difficult to see Arsenal failing to advance from the group which they lead with nine points and a goal tally of 11-0.

Three of Arsenal's goals, including the pick of the night from Hleb, came in a stunning 13-minute spell at the start of the second half.

Arsenal either scored or threatened to do so with almost every attack and on the rare occasions Slavia threatened, Gunners goalkeeper Manuel Almunia was never seriously troubled.

Sevilla at least stayed in touch with Arsenal in Group H with a 2-1 home win over Steaua Bucharest.

Frederic Kanoute put the Uefa Cup holders in front after just five minutes and fellow striker Luis Fabiano added a second soon after before Steaua midfielder Ovidiu Petre scored for the visitors just after the hour mark.

In Ukraine, Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice as Manchester United romped to a 4-2 away win over Dynamo Kiev to make it three wins from three in Group F.

Rio Ferdinand, England defender, headed home a Ryan Giggs freekick on 10 minutes and an unmarked Wayne Rooney doubled the lead with a simple tap-in eight minutes later.

Dynamo, having been outplayed for the opening half hour, pulled a goal back when Brazilian Diogo Rincon powerfully headed home Carlos Correa's corner 10 minutes before halftime.

However the home side's joy was short-lived as Ronaldo headed home another Giggs cross to restore United's two-goal lead before the break before grabbing his second from the penalty spot on 68 minutes after Goran Gavrancic had handled in the box.

Ismael Bangoura scored another for the home side on 78 minutes but the defeat leaves Kiev without a single point from three games.

In the other Group F match, Roma defeated Sporting Lisbon 2-1 in Rome with a goal in each half to Juan and Mirko Vucinic proving too much for Liedson's 18th minute effort for Sporting.

In Group E Olympique Lyon breathed new life into their Champions League campaign with a 2-0 win away to VfB Stuttgart with Fabio Santos and Karim Benzema scoring second half goals, while in the other Group E match, Barcelona were held to an exciting 0-0 draw by Rangers in Glasgow.

Finally back in Group G, hosts PSV Eindhoven played out a 0-0 draw with Fenerbahce as the visitors were reduced to 10 men after Deivid was given a straight red card in the 64th minute.
