Kucinich Wins Virginia Democratic Party Poll
By David Swanson
http://afterdowningstreet.org/

Congressman Dennis Kucinich has won the Virginia Democratic Party's online presidential primary straw poll. Candidates in the poll included the six Democrats who have qualified to appear on the primary ballot in Virginia on February 12.

The party's website said from the start and continues to say that the straw poll voting closed at midnight on December 23rd. In reality, it is still possible to vote and to change the totals. Since the 23rd, the numbers have increased very slightly, though not enough to alter the results. Presumably, this is because most voters are unaware that the voting is still open.

Kucinich supporters, fearing some secret plot to flood the election with votes for another candidate, have been collecting screen shots of the results each day from the website and attempting unsuccessfully to get party officials to explain why the voting is still open.

Here are the results as of December 25th, as shown in the graphic below:

Dennis Kucinich 30%
Hillary Rodham Clinton 27%
Barack Obama 14%
John R. Edwards 12%
Bill Richardson 9%
Joe Biden 9%

Dennis deserves to win over all other de
That's great news to hear for Dennis, but I wonder why he is placing so low on the AOL Straw Poll online? (Maybe his supporters are not aware of it.) I really do hope this Virginia poll is representative of how the vote will turn out, as I don't believe any of the slanted, biased "media" polls.

Although I personally will be voting for Ron Paul (as I like his stance much better on taxes/abolishing the IRS & he just seems to have it more together as a package), they are both decent, truth-speaking anti-war men.

The ideal situation would be to have Dennis Kucinich win the Democratic nomination and go head to head with Ron Paul! What a great ticket that would be!

THIS is what you need to worry about
The dollar slid across the board on Friday as data showing a 9 percent decline in sales of new U.S. homes last month heightened concern about the economy, putting the greenback on track for its worst week in more than a year.
The housing report, which was weaker than economists had expected, also bolstered the case for more Federal Reserve interest rate cuts in 2008. Earlier this week, the S&P/Case-Shiller index showed a record decline in U.S. home prices in October.

This is what's happening to YOUR house. All the 'money' and 'equity' you thought you had saved - eliminated! The equity through falling house prices - and the money because we are DEBASING OUR CURRENCY. That low fed rate you're reading about gets created by printing money and lending it to people. With more money, the money YOU have is worth LESS. So your money is worth less and your property is worth less - where can you turn to keep ahead of inflation? I think you BETTER turn to Dr. Paul. He's the ONLY one running that has a HOPE of being able to deal with this.
