Poland and US "Missile Shield" For the past 45 years, I have been a translator of Slavic Languages, and I have travelled extensively in Russia. There is one phrase used in almost all the Slavic languages which raises all kinds of alarms, bells, whistles, screetching brakes, sirens, etc., and it is the phrase, "in principle." It would take an entire encyclopedia to demonstrate just how useful this phrase can be in negotiations with the various Slavic nations. And the use is always on the side of the Slavs. It is always to their advantage. And in this case, I can only give the Poles an enthusiastic "Hurrah!" Thank You. Richard R. Rye Knoxville, IA
