Should They Shoot President Bush?

Bob Boldt/MWC

Before you call a cop to have me arrested for advocating the assassination of yet another president, consider the following:

If George W. Bush knowingly violated national security by outing a covert CIA agent (Valerie Plame) in time of war (an act of high treason)...

1.] Since President Bush is an active member (Commander in Chief) of the military and subject to the uniform code of military justice.

2.] And since the uniform code of military justice states that the ultimate penalty for treason in a time of war is death by firing squad.

3.] And if further evidence implicates Bush directly in the outing of Valerie Plame….

Then it should be the duty of the military police to bind George W. Bush over to a court of military justice for the purpose of trial and, if found guilty, be taken to the place of execution.

Scott McClellan named Rove, Card, Cheney, Libby and Bush as complicit in the outing and the subsequent denial of the outing of Valerie Plame . As the only member of the named five high administration officials who is a standing member of the military (Rove, Card, Cheney and Libby are civilians) Bush is the only potential candidate for a firing squad.

(Note. I am normally totally opposed to capitol punishment. In this case, I am willing to make an exception.)

I am planning to make a T-shirt with a shortened version of the above message. The headline will be featured prominently.  I will be carrying the full text on my person at all times to present to law enforcement officers intent on violating my first amendment right of free expression.

If you have any suggestions that might make the above message more effective, inflammatory (within legal boundaries) or more accurate, please let me know.  I go to the printers on Thursday.
Peace,

Shooting a vice is never a vice
Dear Robert Boldt

Even for another thousand reasons, Bush deserves such capital punishment. And it is a shame that Americans still opt to suffer this lunatic.
In solidarity
