Chasers War on Everything - Torture John Yoo Guys like John Yoo (in this great video), Cheney, Bush, Wolfowitz, Powell, Condi, etc, etc. should never be able to hold any job above an entry-level position for the rest of their lives. “Hi there! I’m Condi, Welcome to Walmart.” Obama’s refusal to prosecute these miscreants to the fullest extent allowable for their crimes not only pisses me off no end, but also places me in personal jeopardy. As long as these criminals are allowed to conduct their affairs without impediment and make literally millions in honorariums, speaking and consulting fees, it behooves me to remain committed to perform outlandish acts of disruption and civil disobedience whenever they choose to present their bodies at a public location near me. These disruptions, like the wonderful example in this video, are the obligation of every human being on the planet. Can you imagine if all the Nuremberg miscreants had all been allowed clemency after the fall of the Third Reich? Of course let’s not talk about the unforgivable black spot on our history called Operation Paperclip. Von Braun should have been locked up and the key lost forever. Every major member of this horrific, criminal Bush administration must be, from this day foreword, hounded, intimidated and browbeaten into silence in every public appearance they choose to make. Their presence at podiums, seminars and classrooms should be met with a barrage of thrown shoes, hoots of derision and crème pies. The Yes Men, Millionaires for Bush and this Aussie comedian have chosen wonderfully creative ways to register their protests. Most of us are not so innovative. That is no excuse. I urge each of you to, when you hear that for example Colin Powell is lecturing Capitalist corporate types on “leadership” (I kid you not—he actually rakes in tidy sums performing just such an absurdity), sign up for the conference and, at a critical moment, stand up and shout him down. Take printed lists of his crimes and the crimes of the regime he so eloquently promoted to pass out to the other participants and don’t shut up until you are arrested and ejected. These criminals-at-large actually put me in personal jeopardy because their freedom, courtesy of Obama’s de facto immunity from prosecution, places me in the vulnerable position of having to take the law into my own hands. I realize this categorical imperative places my life, my safety, my (small) fortune and my freedom in danger. I hate Obama’s placing me in such a terrible position. Nevertheless I feel this is my duty. I can do no other absent our President’s willingness to courageously step up and do his duty. Peace,
