I've been around from the beginning, or near the beginning, and MWC has been a blessing for this expat. Although not too consistent because of moving hither and thither, MWC has been a place for me to post my satires and other comments.

As an expat, I have a different perspective, as do most expats: I'm outside the castle walls and, therefore, see more--not just regarding what's going on the the States but what's happening everywhere. I'm in China and I am happy about the blogging opportunity in order to counter, in small part, the China bashing that Left and Right enthusiastically engage in, exposing their ignorance and racism and aiding of the gov't position because, for the most part, all of the China bashing is smoke screen, it is wagging the dog.
