MWC Special

It was by coincidence that I ran into this site which could have stayed anonymous if a message in my email account did not attract my attention.

It was few months ago when I was checking my email jammed with messages most of which were advertisements that do not fall in the area of my concern and which I delete immediately without giving any kind of attention to the content; however, a message from an anonymous forum intrigued me to check and in its folds, there was the link to MWC website.

Scanning the site, I could not but feel impressed with its rich content and issues that show high level of professionalism and scientific documentation. In addition, it gives special and objective coverage to the Middle East issues to which I belong.

I automatically registered in this website in order to receive the daily journal and to my surprise I received from MWC Chief Editor Shahram Vahdani a message suggesting that I work with them as a reporter from the Middle East. Such an offer was a tempting one since I have been a professional journalist for more than twenty five years specialized in following up the Middle East issues whether political, economic or culture matters.

In response to that, I sent Mr.Vahdani my first contribution to this site to which he responded asking me to be the Regional bureau Chief for the site in the Middle East, this implies more responsibilities and effort to follow up and cover all the events.  Though such an offer was really hard to be declined, I could not take it since I was already occupied with another important project which is launching the first Arab Economic Channel known as “Arab Business Channel (ABC)”.   I have been working really hard for about a year to see this baby sees the light especially the last few months since ABC will be broadcasted soon from “Media City” in Egypt through the Nile Site Frequency.

However, in the occasion of celebrating the first year of MWC site, I would like to wish you all the best and success in covering all different issues with the same level of professionalism, honesty and objectivity which makes it credible and trustworthy for all the readers especially in the Middle East, Western Europe and the United States of America.  In this respect, I do recommend people to visit this site and take it as their reliable source for news. Hopefully, a wider range of readers who seek truth will find their way to this rich site.
