Here is a “shopping list” of things decent, non-violent, pro-peace, anti-racist, anti-terrorism citizens of the world can do – and we can all make a start NOW.

1.PEACE. Peace is the only way – indeed USIST thrives on typically ineffectual counter-violence that is grossly exaggerated as “terror” by Mainstream media. Thus the “annual homicide rate” in Israel is 45/million as compared to 54 in the United States. However the “annual homicide rate” for the Israel-occupied Holy Land is 124/million and over 80% of the homicides are by Jewish Israelis, mostly young soldiers (see MWC News). 

2. DIAGNOSIS. Know thy enemy. Walter Davis’ outstanding “Deaths Dream Kingdom. The American psyche since 9-11” (Pluto, London, 2006) analyses the conservative political exploitation of mass psychological infantalism involving a psychotic refusal to empathize with others or to even engage with oneself. This mass pathological narcissism has horrible implications for the world that have been substantially realized in post-1950 US wars that have been associated (so far) with 18 million avoidable deaths.

3. RECOGNITION. We swim in a sea of lies. The most important thing about the USIST War on Terror is how many people have died as a consequence. About 7,000 Western civilians have been killed by Muslim-origin non-state terrorists in the last 40 years but the post-invasion avoidable deaths from the USIST  War on Terror now totals about 2.5 million in occupied Iraq and Afghanistan alone. The USIST diversion of the world from the real problems of economic disparity, global warming and global avoidable mortality is costing 16 million avoidable deaths each year.

4. REALITY. Understanding the consequences of UNIST actions is difficult because lying Mainstream Media will simply not tell you. However there is a plethora of outstanding and expert writers one can read such as Tariq Ali, Robert Fisk, John Pilger, Arundhati Roy, George Monbiot, Nafeez Mosaddeq Ahmed, Dahr Jamail, William Blum, James Lovelock (“The Revenge of Gaia”)  and Emmanuel Todd (read a translation of his “After the Empire. The breakdown of the American Order”). Even more powerful is when the truth comes from the “horse’s mouth” as in Philip Agee’s “Inside the Company. CIA Diary” (Penguin, London, 1975) and John Perkins’ horrifying “Confessions of an Economic Hit Man” (Ebury, London, 2005).

5. INFORM. Decent people are obliged to inform others about immense abuses of human rights, and about the horrendous consequences of racist USIST policies. Silence kills and silence is complicity. A crucial step will involve getting John Doe to understand that the VIOLENT deaths are just the 5% tip of the iceberg – 95% of the avoidable deaths from USIST violence are NON-VIOLENT deaths from deprivation and malnourishment-related disease.  Thus post-invasion VIOLENT deaths total about 50,000 in Iraq but the total post-invasion avoidable deaths (including the NON-VIOLENT deaths) totals about 0.5 million.

6. SHAME. Racist, genocidal USIST violence is now targeting Western civilians. Notwithstanding the ugly racist reality that the neo-con “politically correct racists“ (PC racists) evidently don’t regard “Lebanese-origin citizens” as “real citizens”,  they indubitably ARE. Westerners who support the war criminal bombing and shelling of their OWN citizens by war criminal Israeli State Terrorism are traitors and terrorist sympathizers - and should be dealt with by Shaming, the Law, commercial Boycotts and the Ballot Box. Thought experiment - would you befriend, assist, have any dealings with or vote for a traitor, a terrorist sympathizer or an unrepentant  Nazi?

7. SANCTIONS & BOYCOTTS. International sanctions and boycotts worked against the racist Apartheid  régime in South Africa (notwithstanding USIST flouting of the sanctions) and should be urgently applied – indeed as neo-con-advocated “free market choice” - to halt USIST war crimes. Would you buy soap made in Auschwitz?
 
8. ENDLESS WAR ON RACISM & VIOLENCE. The USISTs have declared an “endless war” on humanity that has already manifested as an appalling war on Women and Children. Decent humanity should IMMEDIATELY launch a Peaceful counter-offensive that will persist until the USISTs and indeed EVERYONE – like the Germans in 1945 – adhere to the post-Holocaust protocol denoted C4A (CAAAA): Cessation of violence, Acknowledgment of the crimes, Apology, Amends and Assertion of non-repetition, of “Never again”.
