The Tide Has Changed

London is 'angry' over the use of stolen identities by the Dubai assassins and points its finger at the Jewish state and its notorious Mossad espionage agency. The Israeli ambassador to Britain, Ron Prosor, was summoned yesterday by the foreign minister to “share information”. In practice Britain has stopped short of accusing Israel of involvement in the scandalous assassination, however to signal its displeasure the Foreign Office ignored an Israeli plea to keep the summons secret. "Relations were in the freezer before this. They are in the deep freeze now," a British official told the Guardian.

I was going to stop writing about political things and concentrate on fiction. Fiction is an easier venue because most of the time it doesn’t get you wrapped around the proverbial axle and make you want to blow your head off.

The Long Arm of Israel Better Be Amputated

We have learned in the last few days that the Dubai assassins were Mossad agents who stole identities of six UK citizens and faked at least five other European passports. Dubai Police yesterday presented footage of some of the 11 ‘Europeans’ suspected of killing Hamas commander Mahmoud al-Mabhouh.

An Important Moral Question

Bennington is a small New England town. The problem that now affects Bennington is nationwide.  Small towns and villages all across the US are plagued by the same issue, the lure of military contracts.  This is a hidden issue not often discussed publicly. In a time of a failing economy it is politically incorrect to question any source of jobs - no matter how harmful those jobs are.

March 20

March 20 is a day of historical importance. On March 20, 2003 there were world-wide protests against US military aggression.   Millions of activists around the world participated.  Some of the protests were inspired by US plans for "Shock and Awe".  "Shock and Awe" was promised by the US government to be one of the most destructive military campaigns in history.  In addition the US was at the same time threatening the use of nuclear weapons.
